About McInnes Cooper’s New Partners
Michael Blades (Halifax) is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Insurance Defence business units. Michael primarily litigates construction, commercial, insurance and professional negligence and malpractice disputes.
Meghan Felt (St. John’s) is an immigration lawyer who works in the area of labour and employment. Meghan deals with a variety of Canadian immigration issues ranging from individuals seeking temporary resident permits and permanent residency, to large corporations seeking labour market impact assessments and work permits to hire foreign workers.
Chris MacIntyre (Halifax) practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities law, and other corporate and commercial transactions.
Stephanie Sheppard (St. John’s) focuses on labour and employment law, such as grievance and interest arbitration, strikes, human rights, wrongful dismissal, and collective agreement interpretation.
Daniel Wallace (Halifax) acts in the areas of civil litigation, class actions and tax litigation. Dan has successfully advocated for his clients before various courts and administrative tribunals, including the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court.
