McInnes Cooper is proud to announce that Halifax partner Ray Adlington has recently been elected Vice-President of the Canadian Bar Association.

Ray’s election, which will come into effect September 1, will transition to CBA President after the current president’s term is complete next year. The CBA Board of Directors is comprised of one member from each province and territory as well as the CBA President. Last year the CBA Council approved a new strategic direction for the organization which summarizes their aspirations, values and the foundation on which they will build a better association, starting with the value proposition: “The CBA connects members to the people, knowledge and skills they need to successfully practise law in Canada.”

Congratulations Ray on this well deserved appointment.
