Bruce Russell QC, and Sarah Dykema of McInnes Cooper talk flexibility within private practice in this spring edition of CBA National. Work life balance is important to retention of staff, and quality of life.
Dykema had left private practice to pursue more regular hours, and found that private practice offered better flexibility. She then joined the private sector for the second time, but as a lawyer with McInnes Cooper that has great opportunities for flexibility and family life.
Bruce Russell was able coach his daughter’s soccer team and play golf with his son– all while working for one of Atlantic Canada’s biggest firms.
