Daren Baxter QC, announced President of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society

Daren Baxter QC TEP became the President of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society for 2016-2017 term. Daren, previously the First Vice-President of the society, took the new role on June 18.
The Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society is the regulator of the legal profession in Nova Scotia. Its purpose is to regulate the practice of law in the public interest, ensuring that lawyers are competent and ethical and adhere to standards in practice, and it provides leadership and support to the legal profession in the province.
