HALIFAX, NS August 26, 2016 – Len Hoyt, QC, Chair of the Board of Directors at McInnes Cooper is pleased to announce the appointment of Hugh Wright as the firm’s new Managing Partner and CEO, for a three-year term commencing September 1, 2016.

Mr. Adlington led the firm since the end of 2013. “I have enjoyed my time as Managing Partner and CEO, and I look forward to continuing to serve clients in my tax law practice.”
Hugh has led the firm’s Pensions and Benefits Practice Group for many years. He is a previous member of the firm’s Board of Directors, and previously led the Halifax Litigation Group. He is recognized in Chambers Global, Lexpert and Best Lawyers in Canada. He is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Association of Canadian Pension Management and is a director of the Canadian Bar Insurance Association. Hugh is active in many community organizations and has chaired McInnes Cooper’s Pro-Bono Committee.
