The goal of Pride@MC has always been to bring together and support 2SLGBTQIA+ employees across our regional offices. 2SLGBTQIA+ employees at McInnes Cooper know they have a safe space to raise concerns.
At McInnes Cooper, we pledge to establish a work environment in which every individual at our firm feels acknowledged, appreciated and supported. We strive for all members and prospective recruits of McInnes Cooper to sense that their unique qualities are encouraged and embraced.
Our members are proud to work with impactful pride organizations and initiatives in Atlantic Canada like The Gender & Sexuality Alliance Initiative at the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning in Halifax and Quadrangle NL. It is a goal of ours to expand our efforts and continue to collaborate with a broader range of organizations that champion and advance 2SLGBTQIA+initiatives.
Members of the Pride@MC committee are additionally active within the firm DEI Working Group and contribute their time and knowledge in advancing McInnes Cooper’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative as part of the firm’s strategic plan.
