About Steven

Steven Christie is a Partner in our Fredericton office practicing as a corporate and real estate lawyer. He regularly advises purchasers and vendors on all aspects of real property transactions, including development, acquisition, sale, leasing and financing of commercial and multi-residential projects.

Respecting tax and corporate considerations for both individual and corporate clients, Steven is particularly known for his adherence to tight deadlines and ability to be exact and thorough throughout all stages of a transaction. He works seamlessly with stakeholders, including developers, realtors, brokers, and banking institutions, never losing sight of his clients’ interests.

Steven also enjoys a strong practice in wealth planning, including family trusts and wills. He especially enjoys working with private clients and small business owners, whose needs are often multifaceted, and who are looking to grow or transition their business. He frequently advises on matters of corporate succession and professional incorporation. Steven provides clients with proactive solutions and a memorable experience. Above all, he embodies a holistic approach to transform client needs into long-lasting relationships.

Steven is Past President of the Canadian Bar Association New Brunswick Branch, to which he is also a member. He also belongs to the Law Society of New Brunswick and the York-Sunbury Law Society. Steven is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the New Brunswick Nature Trust. Steven is ranked in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
