Shirley is an estates and trusts lawyer based in our Halifax office. Collaborating closely with her colleagues in McInnes Cooper’s Tax and Private Client groups, she specializes in providing guidance on cross-border trusts, tax, estate planning and administration. Her practice spans a wide range, encompassing simple domestic wills to complex international structures.

Prior to joining our firm, Shirley gained valuable experience working with esteemed law firms and corporations in China, including Zhong Lun Law Firm, Hilton Worldwide, and Ping’an Trust. Her professional journey involved advising clients on a range of matters related to commercial real estate development and operation, private equity, and trust fund investment.

Notably, Shirley has contributed pro-bono legal support to the United Nations World Food Programme, facilitating partnerships with major poverty alleviation foundations in mainland China.

Shirley’s global perspective and rich experiences empower her to deliver practical and actionable advice that aligns with the dynamic needs of her clients.

Beyond her professional achievements, Shirley finds joy in exploring diverse interests. She enjoys reading, travelling, skiing and has a deep appreciation for classical music, with a particular fondness for Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D major, Op.35.

石黎律师，就职于本所资产和信托部门，她的专业领域包括信托、税务、遗嘱、遗产管理及家族资产规划等，她擅长为涉及复杂跨境架构的资产提供法律服务。

石律师本科就读于中国中南财经政法大学国际法系，其后以优异的成绩获得英国莱斯特大学硕士学位，并完成加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学的国际律师项目。她同时拥有中国律师资格及加拿大律师资格，并提供中文及英文的法律服务。

在加入本所之前，石律师曾在多家知名律师事务所和企业工作，为商业房地产开发和运营、并购、私募股权和信托基金投资等领域提供法律服务。她历任中伦律师事务所上海分所的资深律师，希尔顿酒店集团大中华区的法务总监，以及中国平安信托的法务执行总监，具有丰富的法律从业经验。

值得一提的是，石律师曾为联合国世界粮食计划署提供法律援助，促成该机构与中国大陆主要扶贫基金会的合作伙伴关系。石律师的全球视野和丰富经验使她能够提供符合客户需求的务实可行的建议。

工作以外，石律师的兴趣爱好包括阅读、旅行、滑雪以及欣赏古典音乐，她尤其钟爱柴可夫斯基的D大调小提琴协奏曲。
