About Sheri

A Partner in our St. John’s office, Sheri has a broad commercial practice, providing advice on issues ranging from general corporate matters to commercial and civil litigation. Her litigation experience extends to complex matters, such as shareholder disputes, directors’ liability issues and condominium litigation. Sheri also advises on wills and estates matters, including succession planning.

Sheri’s practice involves extensive work with partnerships and joint ventures. With in-depth knowledge and experience working with indigenous peoples in Newfoundland and Labrador, Sheri advises with respect to establishing partnership agreements between Innu and non-Innu businesses.

Sheri has been active in a number of professional and volunteer associations. She is currently the a director and Chair of the Bowring Park Foundation, and a Board Director for the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Technology and Innovation. For over ten years Sheri served in various positions within the Executive Committee of the Newfoundland and Labrador Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, including a year as the Branch President, and a year on the CBA’s National Board of Directors. She is also a former member of the CBA’s National Equality Subcommittee. For the last several years Sheri has also managed the firm’s Pro Bono program, which enables members of the firm to give back to the communities they serve through the provision of legal services at no cost to the recipient.
