Samantha works with lawyers to manage and maintain all aspects of foreclosure files. Her experience includes preparing demand letters; preliminary property searches; setting up payment arrangements with debtors; scheduling and preparing all documents required pertaining to the mortgage sale process; retaining and working with property management companies, appraisers, realtors and trustees; overseeing estimates submitted by the property managers for work required as per the client’s guidelines; engaged in the sale process of the properties including preparing and submitting listing recommendations to client, receiving, reviewing and preparing replies to all offers; preparing and submitting claims to mortgage insurers.
Samantha began with McInnes Cooper in 2006 as a Labour Paralegal, providing support for negotiations throughout Eastern Canada, including major project negotiations. She has been a Foreclosure Paralegal since 2012. Before joining the firm, Samantha was an Office Manager and also worked at a benefit consulting firm, gaining extensive experience in the administration of human resources and payroll.
Samantha has a Bachelor of Education (Business) from the University of New Brunswick.
