About Rebecca

Rebecca is a recognized litigation lawyer with a practice focused in the areas of commercial litigation and estate litigation. She supports clients on the full range of matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes and land/land use disputes. Rebecca has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia, and has appeared before other provincial courts. Her professionalism in and out of the courtroom have built a positive reputation with both clients and other counsel.

Beyond her legal practice, Rebecca contributes her time with the Canadian Bar Association and the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, where she sits on the Credentials Committee and Governance Committee. She is also a part-time lecturer at Dalhousie Schulich School of Law.

With a background in performing arts, Rebecca is actively involved with the Neptune Theatre Foundation. Her passion for the Foundation lead her to join the board in 2009. She has since served on the executive, as President and now as an honorary life Director. Rebecca served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 28 years as a member of the 36th Canadian Brigade Group (Nova Scotia) Band, performing as a musician, vocalist and emcee for charity concerts and other events.
