Payton Wood is a lawyer in our Halifax office with a commercial and residential real estate practice. She has advised developers and investors on the condominium registration process, and has assisted clients in various corporate and commercial transactions. She also has experience with commercial financing, commercial leasing and land use planning matters.

Payton received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University and her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2021. While in law school, Payton spent a semester at Dalhousie Legal Aid Service where she advocated for clients on a variety of legal issues.

Payton is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society. In her spare time, Payton can be found running, cycling and forever cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
