Olivia is an Articled Clerk in our Halifax office with a keen interest in health law, real estate, and corporate law; however, she is enthusiastic about gaining experience in all areas of law. Olivia obtained her Juris Doctor and Master of Health Administration from Dalhousie University in 2022.
During her studies, Olivia received many awards for her academic and athletic achievements, as well as for her community involvement. She was the recipient of both the Atlantic and Canadian University Sport Female Student-Athlete Community Service Award. Olivia was named a USPORT Academic All Canadian during her four years of varsity swimming. She was also the recipient of the Glen Moore Memorial Award, Dr. Thomas A. Rathwell Award, and Dr. Alan D. Thompson Award.
Olivia enjoys being an active member of her community. She volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada throughout her time in law school, including on projects with the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia, the Legal Information Society of Nova Scotia, and the Nova Scotia All Courts Virtual Court Committee. Olivia sat on the executive of both the Health Law Students’ Association and the Association of Health Administration Students. Additionally, she was a Master of Health Administration upper-year student mentor.
Off the clock, Olivia enjoys travelling, reading, playing piano, and spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs. As a retired athlete who competed at the Canadian Olympic Swimming Trials, she also enjoys keeping active. You can often find her swimming, attending spin classes, practicing yoga, or running in Point Pleasant Park.
