About Nick

Nick has a broad practice, encompassing corporate finance and securities, venture capital financing and general corporate matters. He advises clients on corporate and commercial agreements across various industries such as energy and natural resources, financial services, aquaculture and start-ups. During his time articling, he gained experience working within the energy sector with in-house counsel.

Nick obtained his B.A degree from Saint Mary’s University where he was a member and captain of the Varsity football team. He won the School’s President’s Award for excellence in Academics, Athletics and Community Service, was a 3X Academic All-Canadian and was named as a member of 2010’s All-Decade team.

While at law school, Nick continued his commitment to community service by volunteering with the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Society, Football Nova Scotia and the NSSAF. Nick Also spent time working in Nova Scotia’s commercial fishing industry following his first year of Law School. He is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.

Outside the office, you can find Nick playing or watching sports, travelling and volunteering within his community.
