Myriam has a broad practice encompassing corporate governance, business immigration, real estate law, franchise law and entertainment law. She represents clients in the startup, not-for-profit, technology, energy and natural resources, and government and institutions sectors, as well as private clients.
Myriam works with clients to provide support at all stages of the corporate life cycle and in connection with purchase and sale transactions, corporate reorganizations, general corporate governance, and private equity financing. With respect to real estate law, she supports both residential and commercial transactions.
Before beginning her legal career, Myriam worked in government as a Page in the House of Commons, and later as a Parliamentary Assistant for a Fredericton Member of Parliament. Her political involvement is where her interest in the law began. Through her experience working in the public sector, Myriam has developed a deep understanding of the government and institutions legal sector.
Myriam is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick and currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of CISV Fredericton, a local Not-For-Profit focused on building peace and healthy child development through global friendships. She is also a member of McInnes Cooper’s Diversity & Inclusion Working Group and Social Committee. Myriam has done extensive pro bono work for clients in the not-for-profit sector, including various cultural associations within the province.
In her spare time, Myriam enjoys playing music, attending sporting events and concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
