About Myriam

Myriam is an Associate in our Fredericton office with a broad practice encompassing general corporate/commercial law, corporate governance and immigration law.

Myriam’s practice includes a variety of transactional work, in particular, for Startups and emerging companies. Her services include, but are not limited to, guiding her clients throughout the early stages of incorporation, assisting with share or asset purchase transactions, managing traditional or venture capital financings, contract review and negotiation. Throughout her practice, Myriam prides herself in learning about her client’s business in order to provide relevant and curated advice specific to their individual needs.

In addition to her corporate practice, Myriam understands the importance of immigration to the economic growth of our region. She works with both employers and individuals to provide strategic and practical guidance regarding the immigration process. Myriam represents clients on a variety of Canadian immigration issues, ranging from individuals seeking temporary resident visas, study permits, work permits and permanent residency, to large corporations seeking labour market impact assessments and work permits to attract and retain global talent.

Myriam is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Law Society of New Brunswick and the York-Sunbury Law Society. She has served as Secretary on the Board of Directors of CISV Fredericton, a local Chapter focused on building peace and healthy child development through global friendships. She is also a member of McInnes Cooper’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Working Group and CSR Committee.

In her spare time, Myriam enjoys playing music, attending sporting events and concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
