Lauren Cicin practices civil litigation with a primary focus on personal injury, insurance defence, and subrogation claims. She also has experience with employment law and an interest in long term disability claims. Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Brunswick with a major in English and a minor in psychology. She then obtained her law degree at the University of New Brunswick, during which time she completed an internship with the New Brunswick Court of Appeal.
Lauren has represented clients in all levels of Court in New Brunswick from Small Claims Court, Court of Queen’s Bench, to the Court of Appeal. Lauren listens to her clients to ensure she is servicing their needs appropriately. She carefully considers all possible solutions available including alternative dispute resolution options before making recommendations as to the best approach for her client’s situation.
Lauren is a member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers, Saint John Law Society, Law Society of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society, and the Canadian Bar Association. She also chairs the SOGIC NB section, is an executive member of the Young Lawyers Conference in New Brunswick and is a Saint John Family Resource Center Board Member. In her spare time she enjoys playing poker, reading and yoga.
