About Jillian

Jillian’s practice is focused on insurance litigation, class actions and administrative law. She also assists Canadian Forces veterans with navigating government benefit plans. Fluent in both English and French, Jillian has built up her practice with clients who have come to depend on her to provide practical and effective solutions to their problems. Jillian is a Harvard-trained negotiator whose practice is focused on alternative dispute resolution.

Outside of practicing law, Jillian is part-time instructor at the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law, teaching classes in Insurance Law and Civil Procedure. Jillian is a member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers, The Advocates’ Society, and the Nova Scotia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, where she serves as Chair of the Nova Scotia Insurance Law Section. She is also a glider pilot instructor with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets and a private pilot.
