Jillian’s practice is focused on insurance defence litigation, class actions and administrative law. She also advises clients in the entertainment and cannabis industries. Fluent in both English and French, Jillian has built up her practice with clients who have come to depend on her to provide practical and effective solutions to their problems.
Jillian graduated from Dalhousie University in 2009 and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2010. She moved to Nova Scotia in 2014 where she was called to the bar and joined McInnes Cooper. Outside of practicing law, Jillian is part-time instructor at the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law teaching classes in Insurance Law and Civil Procedure. Jillian is also a glider pilot instructor with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
