About Jillian

Jillian has a general corporate and commercial law practice, spanning the areas of corporate finance and securities, corporate governance and compliance, as well as real estate.

Having completed her articles with McInnes Cooper, Jillian has gained experience in a range of corporate transactions and corporate governance matters. She has supported clients completing due diligence work and drafting agreements and ancillary documents for various transactions.

While at law school, Jillian participated in Pro Bono Dalhousie by volunteering with reachAbility’s Legal Referral Service and was a research assistant with the Access to Justice and Law Reform Institute. She was a recipient of the Clifford Rae Achievement Award, and the Schulich Scholarship in Law.

In her spare time, Jillian enjoys Newfoundland’s scenic hikes, reading and discussing a good book at book club, and trying new foods.
