Jillian is completing her articles at McInnes Cooper’s St. John’s office with an interest in many areas of law including corporate/commercial law, corporate governance, and energy and natural resources.
Originally from Corner Brook, NL, Jillian graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) in Behavioural Neuroscience in 2017 and a Master’s in Experimental Psychology (Behavioural Neuroscience) in 2019 from Memorial University. Jillian completed a Juris Doctor degree at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law in 2022. During law school, Jillian received scholarships and awards such as the Clifford Rae Achievement Award, the D.S and F.L. Coombes Award, and the Schulich Scholarship in Law. She participated in Pro Bono Dalhousie by volunteering with reachAbility’s Legal Referral Service and was a research assistant with the Access to Justice and Law Reform Institute.
In her spare time, Jillian enjoys hiking, a good book, and good food.
