About Jackie

Jackie has a general labour and employment practice. She has experience advising clients on employment contracts, restrictive covenants in contracts (specifically, non-compete clauses), workplace policies, terminations and other employment matters. She has also acted for employers regarding constructive dismissal claims. Much of her labour and employment work has been for First Nation clients.

Before entering private practice, Jackie articled at the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal under Justice David P.S. Farrar. She was also Junior Commission Counsel for the Joint Federal/Provincial Commission into the April 2020 Nova Scotia Mass Casualty (Mass Casualty Commission).

Outside of the office, Jackie spends much of her time hiking with her two dogs, horseback riding and coaching riding lessons.
