About Elizabeth

Elizabeth is an associate with a practice primarily focused on immigration law. During her articles, Elizabeth gained experience assisting in a range of business and individual immigration matters. She has helped obtain temporary work permits and permanent resident applications, and has advised on requirement for setting up a business in Canada.

Elizabeth also has a litigation practice in insurance defence. She assists insurers with respect to slip and falls and motor vehicle accident claims. Elizabeth has appeared before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and has assisted with discoveries and settlement conferences.

Prior to moving to Canada, Elizabeth practiced corporate law and litigation in Nigeria for four years. She moved to Canada in September 2013 and now happily calls Dartmouth, Nova Scotia home.

Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys gardening, playing soccer and any activities involving her children. She is an active volunteer with her local church and was previously on the board of the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers. Elizabeth is also a member of the ISANS Multi-stakeholder Working Group (MSWG) for Internationally Trained Lawyers (ITLs).
