David is an associate in our Halifax office. His practice focuses in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing, corporate and securities law, information technology and business process outsourcing law. He has extensive experience in the negotiation and drafting of various corporate and commercial agreements, including asset and share purchase agreements, franchise agreements and joint venture agreements. He advises clients in various industries across multiple sectors on a range of regulatory and general corporate law matters.
David graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University where he received the G.O. Forsyth Award and the Borden Ladner Gervais Professional Excellence Award. Prior to law school, David attended the University of British Columbia where he was a four year student athlete on the varsity baseball team.
David is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association. Outside of the office, David enjoys playing hockey, golf, and baseball and is a current member of the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry Senior Baseball Club.
