About Brad

Brad Budden is a lawyer in our St. John’s office with a general corporate and commercial practice. His practice is diverse and includes tax, intellectual property, insolvency, corporate finance, corporate governance, and commercial and residential real estate. He represents his clients on a range of transactions in the dental, energy and natural resources, engineering, medical, retail, sports, and technology industries, conducts searches, and prepares and reviews documents related to underlying transactions.

During his undergraduate degree, Brad was the co-chair of the Memorial University chapters of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, and the Royal Institute of Naval Architects.

In law school, Brad was highly involved with the organization of intermural sports and served as co-chair of the Dalhousie contingent at the annual Law Games. Brad played junior and senior hockey for the entirety of his undergraduate degree and throughout law school.

Brad is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, and LawInSport.
