About Ashley
Ashley is a corporate paralegal in our St. John’s office, supporting a wide range of general corporate matters, tax reorganizations, and assisting businesses at all stages of their development.. Her work includes incorporating, continuing (import/export), amalgamating, and dissolving companies under both the Corporations Act (Newfoundland and Labrador) and the Canada Business Corporations Act. She also assists with the formation and amendment of limited partnerships in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Ashley regularly supports corporate maintenance and compliance, including amendments related to corporate names, directors, officers, registered offices, and authorized share capital. She is experienced in creating, reviewing, rectifying, and recreating corporate records and minute books, as well as preparing annual resolutions and related documentation.
She manages extra-provincial registrations in Newfoundland and Labrador, and helps ensure corporate records remain current across jurisdictions. Ashley conducts due diligence searches and coordinates registrations under the Personal Property Registries across Atlantic Canada and assists with mergers and acquisitions.
Ashley attended the College of the North Atlantic, where she completed both the Medical Office Administration (2014) and Legal Office Administration (2015) programs.
