About Anna

Anna is a bilingual litigation associate in McInnes Cooper’s St. John’s (NL) office. Anna started her career practising family and criminal law but now maintains a broad civil defence practice with a special interest in class actions, construction and energy and natural resources.

Anna has represented both individuals and corporations and has been involved in various stages of the litigation process, inside and outside the courtroom. She has appeared at all levels of court and before the Federal Court and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

Anna earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in History from Memorial University and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Université de Moncton. During law school, Anna participated in the Laskin, an annual national bilingual moot court competition in Canadian administrative and constitutional law.

Anna is currently Co-Chair of the Society’s SS Daisy Legal History Committee and Secretary of the Liberal Party of NL.
