Angela is the firm’s People & Culture Assistant. In her role, she works with the Manager of People & Culture – Legal to support onboarding for staff, law students, and lawyers. Angela also collaborates with the People & Culture team on key firm initiatives, including education, wellness and engagement programs. This includes assisting with internal communications and administration of people-related platforms.

A CPHR candidate, Angela pursues continuous learning opportunities in the human resources field. She further contributes to the firm as a member of the DEI Action Team (Educate).

Before joining McInnes Cooper, Angela taught English as a second language in Kumamoto, Japan for nearly 2 years.

Angela is an avid traveller; she’s been to more than 20 countries and is determined to visit every continent. Beyond travel, Angela also enjoys cooking with new flavours, hiking and visiting waterfalls and scenic viewpoints, especially in the Cape Breton Highlands.
