Andrew has a broad commercial litigation practice. His practice encompasses the areas of contract and business disputes, construction law, administrative law, debt litigation, asset recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency, and labour and employment law. Andrew helps businesses, government entities, owners, contractors, financial institutions and employers to resolve and avoid disputes.
Andrew solves his clients’ issues in a timely, efficient manner, whether through litigation, arbitration, mediation or negotiation. He has represented clients before the New Brunswick Court of Queen’s Bench, administrative tribunals, and Small Claims Court, and has assisted with matters before the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. Andrew also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution procedures, especially arbitration.
In law school, Andrew was awarded the J. Gordon Petrie, Q.C. Prize in Labour & Employment Law and the Case Family Scholarship in Business Law. He also had a paper selected for publication in the UNB Law Journal and represented UNB at the Gale Cup Moot and the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot.
Andrew is Vice President of the York-Sunbury Law Society, a member of Law Society of New Brunswick and its Articling Committee, and a member of the Canadian Bar Association. Outside of the office, he enjoys long-distance running, road cycling, health and fitness and all things music, politics and sports.
