About Andrew
Andrew has a general litigation practice. His practice encompasses the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency, asset recovery, construction law, administrative law and labour and employment law. He summered and articled with McInnes Cooper, gaining experience and providing research and drafting support across these areas.
Andrew has assisted with matters before the New Brunswick Court of Appeal, the New Brunswick Court of Queen’s Bench, administrative tribunals and decision-makers, and has represented clients in Small Claims Court. Andrew also has experience in alternative dispute resolution procedures.
Andrew has an interest in labour and employment law and was awarded the J. Gordon Petrie, Q.C. Prize in Labour & Employment Law for the highest marks in labour and employment law courses in law school. In Andrew’s third year of law school, his paper on a labour law subject was selected for publication in the University of New Brunswick Law Journal. Andrew also won the Case Family Scholarship in Business Law for demonstrated excellence in business law courses and represented the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law at the Gale Cup Moot and the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
Andrew is a Board Member of the York-Sunbury Law Society and a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Canadian Bar Association. He enjoys all things music, politics and sports (particularly the New England Patriots).
