McInnes Cooper’s Charlottetown office makes headlines again, appearing in Atlantic Business Magazine article on the best and coolest offices in the Atlantic region. The Charlottetown building structure known as the Dawson Hardware Building was built in 1881, but the building underwent a massive restoration by developer Chris Tweel and Nine Yard Studio. McInnes Cooper was one of the first tenants to move into the building located on the corner of Kent Street and University Avenue in 2016. The building shows a mix of modern and historical elements. Its features are designed to maximize fresh air and natural light, and include a large second floor balcony perfect for hosting events.
