McInnes Cooper congratulates Heather Bruce-Veitch of the Iron Ore Company of Canada, for receiving the “Women in Mining Canada Trailblazer Award” from Women in Mining Canada, (WIMC). The WIMC is a national not-for-profit organization focused on advancing the interests of women in the minerals exploration and mining sector.
The national Women in Mining Canada Trailblazer Award honours women who have made a significant contribution to Canadian mining and have furthered the inclusion of women in the industry through leadership.
Heather Bruce-Veitch received the award during the Women in Mining Canada PDAC 2018 Mining for Diversity Cocktail and Awards Event in Toronto on March 6, 2018.
