Halifax partner Kevin Gibson was recently honoured at the University of King’s College with the Order of the Ancient Commoner.
The award, which was handed out at the annual Alumni Association Dinner, recognizes an alumnus or alumna of the College who has given significant support to the College or to the Alumni Association above and beyond his or her position or affiliation.
Kevin studied Classics as an undergraduate at the University of King’s College and later had a 10 year term from 2006-16 as Secretary of the King’s Board of Governors. During that time he was a member of the university’s Executive and Governance Committees and served as chair of the Board of Appeal and Discipline. King’s noted that Kevin “remains a King’s ambassador through and through”.
Congratulations Kevin on this wonderful honour.
