In honour of our clients and good friends, in lieu of cards and gifts, we have made donations to our region’s hard-working food banks. According to the 2016 Hunger Count report from Food Banks Canada, 863,492 people used a food bank in our country in March 2016, up 1.3% from the previous year, and 28% since March 2008. All Atlantic provinces saw increases. Children account for 35% of Canadian food bank users.
