Blair is a Partner and member of the firm’s Board of Directors. He practices in the areas of employment, immigration and human rights. A member of the Labour and Employment Group, he routinely represents employers facing issues with labour relations, human resources and immigration matters.
Blair has extensive advocacy experience, having appeared before all levels of Court and a wide variety of administration tribunals in Newfoundland & Labrador and Nova Scotia. He has also represented clients in several Public Inquiries, including inquiries into matters of health care services and occupational health and safety.
Blair is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland, the Canadian Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, and has served on McInnes Cooper’s Board of Directors for the past four (4) years.
