Recreational cannabis isn’t legal yet: Canada’s federal government has proposed legislation to legalize and regulate access to recreational (non-medical) cannabis in Canada with the hopes of making it effective in July 2018. But many employers are already feeling the workplace effects of the pending legalization now.
