About Vishal
Vishal Verma is completing his articles at McInnes Cooper’s Halifax office. Vishal has a keen interest in the areas of corporate and commercial law. During his time articling, with in-house counsel, he gained significant exposure to the energy sector and commodities in both holding company and business environments. Originally from Fredericton, NB, Vishal received his Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick in 2022 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Acadia University in 2018.
During his undergraduate studies, Vishal was a member of the Acadia Men’s rugby team and a volunteer with S.M.I.L.E (Sensory Motor Instructional Leadership Experience). At law school, he was awarded the Harry Scott scholarship for academic achievement in courses with substantial finance and corporate taxation content.
Outside of work, Vishal enjoys golfing, hiking, and spending time with his family and friends.
