Tom has a practice primarily focused in the areas of corporate and business law, real estate, pensions and general litigation. He has provided support and advice with respect to commercial and residential real estate transactions of all sizes. In the corporate space, Tom has supported numerous financing rounds helping clients raise millions of dollars to build their high-growth businesses. In every transaction, he works closely with his clients throughout to ensure they are well-informed and advised.
Tom’s professional experience and MBA give him a richer understanding of the needs of his clients and their businesses. Before pursuing a career in law, Tom worked in both the public and private sectors. Tom was a policy analyst for a major pension administrator and led projects in market research, communications, information technology, and strategy. Tom also co-owned a start-up company during his MBA. This experience enables Tom to provide well-rounded advice to clients in the fast growing start-up sector, an area of particular interest for him.
Tom is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Canadian Bar Association. He is also actively involved with McInnes Cooper’s CSR program, and is always eager to give back to the community. Off the clock, Tom enjoys writing, recording, and playing music, and getting outdoors with his wife, son and dogs.
