Rollie is a Strategic Advisor for human resources and labour related operations. With an extensive background in senior leadership positions in the health, public education and public service sectors, Rollie offers a well-rounded perspective on labour relations, collective bargaining, performance management, organizational development and other HR and LR considerations.
Prior to joining McInnes Cooper, Rollie was the Associate Deputy Minister of Labour Relations in Nova Scotia, with responsibility for the overall coordination of public sector labour relations. He regularly collaborated with all stakeholders, including union leaders, employers and government departments, when providing advice. Before transitioning into a leadership role within the health care sector, Rollie was a teacher and administrator at the school board level.
Rollie is an avid golfer and runner. He is also a previous member of the Naval Reserve Unit HMCS Scotian.
