Nicole is an Immigration Lawyer at McInnes Cooper, bringing over 14 years of legal experience across England, Australia, and Canada. With her diverse legal background and personal experience immigrating to Canada in 2022, Nicole offers a unique perspective, realistic strategies and empathetic support to individuals and businesses navigating Canada’s immigration system.
Nicole represents individual clients with temporary resident visas, work permits, study permits, provincial nominee programs, permanent residency applications, permanent resident card renewals, citizenship applications and more. She also advises corporate clients on LMIA applications, work permit applications under various international agreements (such as CETA, CUSMA and UK ICT), and employer compliance matters.

Nicole is known for her commitment to making a meaningful difference in clients’ lives and for providing advice in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. Her calm and methodical approach helps ensure those she works with feel informed and confident throughout the legal process.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys travelling and road-trips with her husband, wildlife spotting (especially marine animals), cheering on her favourite sports teams and aurora borealis chasing.
