About Molly

Molly is a lawyer based in Halifax where she brings a versatile skill set to complex legal matters. Drawing on a broad background, Molly develops strategies that combine technical accuracy with practical solutions tailored to individual client needs. Dedicated and approachable, Molly ensures outcomes that reflect precision and purpose.

Before joining McInnes Cooper, Molly practiced as a litigation associate at a prominent law firm in New York. Her work encompassed white collar crime, investigations, complex commercial disputes, and regulatory issues. She also maintained a robust pro bono practice focused on immigration and housing. Earlier in her career, Molly clerked at the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.

During law school, Molly engaged extensively in advocacy and research. She contributed to Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS), Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), and Canadian Equality Rights in Accommodation (now Canadian Centre for Housing Rights). Molly participated in the Jessup International Moot Competition, where her team made the quarterfinals at the international round. She later coached the 2022 Canadian National Champion team.

Molly’s international perspective is shaped by diverse experiences: living and teaching in South Korea, practicing law in the United States, and competing in public international law moot rounds alongside participants from around the world. Beyond her professional life, Molly enjoys musical theatre, travel, and cooking.
