Melvin is an associate in our Halifax office with a growing practice focused on insurance defence litigation. He has experience involving casualty claims including injury and fatality claims.

Melvin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Cape Breton University in 2019 and completed his Juris Doctor at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University in 2022. During his articles, he gained hands-on experience across a range of legal areas, including personal injury and disability law. He conducted research, drafted pleadings, led client meetings, and appeared before the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal. Since being called to the bar, Melvin has taken on his own files and represented clients at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia.
