Marcedes is completing her articles at McInnes Cooper’s Halifax office. She is interested in exploring both litigation and corporate law and is excited to develop a broad range of skills that will support her future practice.
Marcedes completed her undergraduate degree at Saint Mary’s University, graduating summa cum laude. She then earned her J.D. from Toronto Metropolitan University where she was a member of the business law society and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. During law school, she also obtained a Certificate in the Fundamentals of International Business Law and worked as a Research Assistant, co-authoring a paper examining the impacts of virtual refugee hearings.
Outside of work, Marcedes enjoys spending time with friends and family, cheering on the Maple Leafs and attending a variety of workout classes.
