About Lori

Lori is completing her articles at McInnes Cooper’s Halifax office. She is interested in the areas of construction, labour and employment, and administrative law. She is a registered Engineer in Training (EIT) and is completing her Masters’ of Public Policy at USask. She is clerking in 2022-2023 at the Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa. She and her partner won best Factum, nationally, at the Gale Moot in 2020. During law school; she was the Vice President of the Law Student Society, completed an internship with WorkSafeNB and founded the law school’s community outreach group. Lori was on the Dean’s List, and won multiple scholarships and awards including the UNB Spirit Award and top marks in civil procedure, criminal law, and constitutional/civil liberties. She is an active volunteer with Girl Guides and serves on provincial and national committees for organizations that promote the inclusion of women in construction and STEM.
