Laura practices criminal defence, family law, administrative law, wills and estates, real estate, personal injury, and general litigation.
Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology/Law and Society) and a Certificate in Criminology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2005. She was awarded the highest academic standing in the Law and Society Program. Laura went on to receive her Bachelor of Laws Degree from Dalhousie Law School in 2008.
Laura was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2009, earning both the Provincial Court Judges’ Association Award and the Penney Award (Co-Recipient) for her academic performance in the criminal law and family Law exams of the Bar Admissions Course. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Atlantic Provincial Trial Lawyers Association and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Shalom Incorporated.
