Justin is a bilingual lawyer with a practice focused in corporate and business law, as well as commercial litigation. He primarily supports corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions. An extension of his corporate structuring practice, Justin advises clients with respect to complex or sensitive matters in addition to general corporate matters. He also represents clients on a full range of commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract issues, mediations, arbitrations, small claims and matters before the Court of Queen’s Bench.
Through his MBA, Justin has gained a deep appreciation for the needs of businesses, particularly startups and emerging companies. He strives to be a strategic partner to his clients in all their endeavors, helping provide the best possible result.
During law school, Justin was a founding member of the UNB Law Tax Clinic, which runs in partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency to provide free education to students on Canadian income tax and how to maximize their savings. Justin was also involved with the New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission on a weekly basis during his final year of law school.
Justin is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Canadian Bar Association. Outside of the office, he enjoys fishing, golfing, as well as trying new foods. A former varsity swimmer, Justin was the recipient of the Academic All-Canadian award during his MBA and feels most at home near the water.
