Jillian brings over 20 years of leadership in human resources, with a strong background spanning the private sector, partnerships, municipal government, and legal services. As Director of People & Culture at McInnes Cooper, she leads initiatives in talent management, employee engagement, learning and development, and process improvement. She works closely with the senior leadership team to align HR strategies with the firm’s long-term goals, creating an inclusive, high-performance workplace that supports growth and operational excellence.

Her career has focused on helping professionals and leaders build modern, people-centered environments. She has led efforts in recruitment, compensation, onboarding, policy development, and workforce planning, always emphasizing the connection between people, performance, and purpose.

Jillian approaches challenges with curiosity and collaboration, asking thoughtful questions to understand current realities and working with others to shape practical, people-centered solutions. She prioritizes clarity and inclusion, believing that the most effective outcomes emerge from a culture where people feel engaged and confident in their contributions.

Outside of work, Jillian enjoys biking, hiking, and canoeing with her husband, friends, family, and dog. She’s also part of a curling league and is learning to play the guitar.
