About Emma

Emma is the Business Development Coordinator for our New Brunswick offices and is based in Saint John. In this role, she supports the firm’s strategic growth across Atlantic Canada. She manages sponsorship requests, organizes and supports client events, and works closely with lawyers and colleagues on initiatives that strengthen client relationships and engages and create new business opportunities.

Emma has a diverse professional background spanning government legal service, local hospitality, and the non-profit sector. Prior to joining McInnes Cooper, she served as director of an outdoor early learning centre, where she oversaw the day-to-day operations and administration of a program serving 160 children across 30 acres and supported by a team of 40 staff. This included overseeing all communications, budgeting, event planning and engagement initiatives.

Outside of work, Emma serves on the Board of Director for Fresh Start Services, an organization that supports individuals experiencing homelessness in her hometown in Saint John. She is also an avid thrifter and co-hosts pop-up markets with friends (Right Good Pop Up), sharing her passion for second-hand fashion, sustainability, and community connection. When she’s not at the thrift store, you can find her reading a romance novel, visiting her niece in Ottawa, or spending time outside with friends and family.
