Emily’s practice is focused in corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate finance, as well as cross-border law.
Prior to joining McInnes Cooper, Emily gained experience and insight working with a major banking institution, specializing in mortgage lending and earning her Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) certification in 2012. Applying her knowledge and experience within the finance industry to her current corporate practice, Emily provides clients with practical, applicable advice.
An outdoor enthusiast, Emily is an Atlantic regional board member of the Nature Conservancy of Canada. Off the clock, she enjoys horseback riding and staying active with her dog.
