Ellen is completing articles at McInnes Cooper’s Halifax office. Ellen is currently interested in general litigation, labor and employment law, sport law and real estate. However, she is always open to discovering new interest and looks forward to engaging with a variety of different areas during her articling year.

Prior to switching to a career in law, Ellen worked as a Director of Event Services in the sports and entertainment industry. This experience, coupled with Ellen’s time as a former university basketball athlete, has provided Ellen with developed skills in client relationship building, leadership, and communication.

Outside of the office, Ellen enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. She enjoys camping and travelling and stays active through running, weight training and other sports. She also loves to spend time with her family and friends.
