About Ellen
Ellen is an associate at McInnes Cooper's Halifax office whose practice focuses on labour and employment law. She completed her law degree at the University of New Brunswick, where she participated in the Sports Law Clinic and the Pro Bono Students Canada program.
Prior to switching to a career in law, Ellen worked as a Director of Event Services in the sports and entertainment industry. This experience, coupled with Ellen’s time as a university basketball athlete at Acadia University and the University of New Brunswick, provided Ellen with skills in client relationship building, leadership, and communication.
