Amra is an associate at McInnes Cooper’s Halifax office, specializing in general civil litigation, insurance, and estate litigation. She is dedicated to thoroughly understanding her clients’ needs and has a genuine passion for assisting them through challenging matters.

Representing clients before the Residential Tenancies Program, Small Claims Court, and Supreme Court, Amra has also made recent appearances in chambers, the Court of Appeal, and the Social Security Tribunal of Canada. By carefully considering all available options and potential outcomes, Amra determines the most strategic path forward, always in line with clients’ interests.

Amra has successfully obtained representation orders under the Adult Capacity and Decision-making Act and has experience in contractual disputes, construction disputes, estate litigation, and estate planning. She is committed to helping clients navigate the complex litigation process, particularly in business and estate disputes.

Outside of work, Amra loves to embrace the outdoors through biking or kayaking. She also enjoys photography and spending time with family and friends.
