Alexandra is an articled clerk in McInnes Cooper’s Halifax office. She has an interest in corporate law, renewable energy and intellectual property. Originally from Bedford, NS, Alexandra received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with distinction from St. Francis Xavier University in 2019 and went on to obtain a Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2022.
Upon entering university for her undergraduate degree, Alexandra was awarded the BMO National Leadership Scholarship. She was a member of both the St.FX Women’s varsity soccer team and track and field team. While at law school, she was a member of the Environment Law Society and President of the International Law Society. During this time, she completed pro bono projects with Sexual Violence New Brunswick and published a legal information handbook through her pro-bono work with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. In her spare time, she likes to practice yoga and continues to play soccer and run. She enjoys hiking in the woods with her Shiloh Shepard.
