Ailish Bergin is a lawyer in McInnes Cooper’s Charlottetown office. Her practice primarily focuses on civil litigation and insurance defence. She has experience assisting clients with a wide range of civil matters, including construction disputes, navigating regulatory frameworks, and insurance litigation. Ailish helps clients understand and manage the complexities of the legal system and prioritizes clear communication throughout the process.

Ailish earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Politics from Acadia University in 2022, with a minor in philosophy. During her time at Acadia, her research interests focused on public policy and transportation inequality for residents of Prince Edward Island. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University in 2025, where she participated in a pro bono project and focused her coursework on civil litigation, insurance law, and administrative law.

When she’s not working, Ailish enjoys reading, writing, and cycling.
