New Managing Partner / CEO for McInnes Cooper

HALIFAX, NS September 27, 2013 – Len Hoyt, QC, Chair of the Board of Directors at McInnes Cooper is pleased to announce the appointment of Ray Adlington as the firm’s new Managing Partner and CEO, for a three-year term commencing December 1, 2013.

Mr. Miller decided to finish as Managing Partner at the end of 2013 after leading the firm in successive terms since 2006. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as Managing Partner and CEO, and I look forward to continuing to serve my clients in the energy and natural resources sector.”
Mr. Miller has maintained a leading practice focused on environmental and aboriginal law. He serves as Corporate Secretary of Twin Rivers Pulp & Paper Co., and is on the Board of Governors of the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council.
Mr. Adlington has been involved in law firm management since 2004. He has a B.Sc., M.B.A. and LL.B. all from Dalhousie University. He is a highly-regarded tax lawyer. He has been Regional Manager for Nova Scotia, interim CFO and most recently Business Unit Leader of the firm’s Tax Unit.
